I plan on doing more frequent blog posts, with briefer descriptions of what I've been up to. I will probably give you some more meat-and-potatoes type blogs, with some of the classes I take each week, which labs/ICMs I'm doing, etc. There will be less emote-a-posting about how things "are going."
I got some good advice tonight about monitoring my online "presence," and how important it is to maintain a proper online persona in the event that it is misused to profile me as I prepare for residency positions, employment positions, and the like. It isn't that I was unaware that such use of people's online postings took place, but I was reminded of how seriously many things can be taken once they've been put on the web.
To wit, I've also taken a look at my Facebook and Twitter accounts. I'm revamping my entire online image, and the dust might be shaking things up soon.
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm about 4 weeks from returning to Florida for my 2-week break between semesters 2 and 3, and I can't wait to see everyone! Take care!
